KISS' PETER CRISS Shows Up At GENE SIMMONS' Mag Launch Party
June 7, 2002KISS drummer Peter Criss, whose position in the group has been uncertain for much of the last year, came face-to-face with bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons at the latter's official release party for Gene Simmons Tongue magazine on Wednesday night, June 5th at Studio 54 in New York City.
After the encounter and embrace, Simmons talked about his relationship with Criss. "We saw each other, and like family you hug and you say 'Hi.' You wish each other the best. Anybody who thinks there's something else going on is just dreaming. We saw each other, that's all that's important. And whatever a family has to say to each other is really nobody's business. And so the Internet and the fans usually like to butt their heads right in the middle of it, it's really nobody's business."
When pointed out that it looked amicable, Simmons reiterated, "It's nobody's business. It's a family conversation."
In a posting at his official web site, Simmons writes that "Peter and I mugged for the cameras and it was a kick to see him and his wife Gigi again. Peter and I are talking about an article for the second issue of my mag."
